Ancestral Breathwork
“Ancestral Breathwork: Soundscapes of the World”
Located at Studio 1108, Topeka, KS
Beneath our everyday awareness live stories, memories, and patterns that don’t just begin with us. They reach back through our ancestors. Many of our deepest imprints, even limiting beliefs, are held in the subconscious, carried through generations, waiting to be seen and released.
Ancestral Breathwork offers a powerful way to explore and liberate these patterns. Through guided conscious breathing and carefully curated world music soundscapes, you will journey into the roots of your own lineage, connecting with ancient rhythms, voices, and traditions that speak to the universal human spirit.
Modern science shows us that our DNA carries traces from many parts of the world. That means we never fully know which sounds, rhythms, or cultural vibrations might resonate within us, unlocking memory and activating transformation. A single drumbeat, chant, or raga can stir something deeply familiar, awakening healing at a level beyond thought.
Each session is unique:
- Some evenings you may be carried by Celtic drums and chants, evoking the wisdom of Irish and Scottish ancestry.
- Another time, you may be guided by Native American flutes and ceremonial rhythms, grounding you in earth connection.
- Or perhaps African tribal percussion awakens deep primal memory, or Indian ragas and chants open pathways to transcendence.
Depending on the class date, we will immerse in different cultural soundscapes from around the globe, each chosen to resonate with the breath and facilitate deep remembering.
